Our top client in the gaming industry is looking for talented Gameplay Programmers specializing in 3C or AI!

Role Title: Sr. Gameplay Programmer x2 (3C and AI)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: 100% Remote - core hours - 10 ET - 4 ET.

Duration: 6-12+ Months to Hire

Must haves:

  • Really experienced in C++, specifically as a Game Programmer on Console (console or PC)

  • Animation Systems are typically handled by the AI programmers.

  • Exp. Programming for last Generation Consoles &PC.

  • NTH Unreal 4 Engine

  • Re: 3C - navigation, combat and any of the C's

  • Re: AI - enemy behavior, random encounters, NPC, Boss Fights, Watchdog, Open World Games


Position 1 - 3C Gameplay Programmer

  • We are currently looking for a senior 3C gameplay programmer to help our gameplay team and focus on the following topics:

  • Main character control &state machine

  • Character traversal

  • Cameras support

  • Debug &optimization

The candidate should have the following profile:

  • At least 8 years of experience in 3C gameplay programming, on shipped titles

(ideally AAA titles)

  • Excellent knowledge of C++ and good understanding of modern CPU architectures

  • Comfortable with multithreaded programming

  • Good 3D maths skills, good understanding of technical animation constraints

  • Optimization &debugging experience on PC and consoles

  • Significant experience with UnrealEngine is a must-have

  • Experience on a multiplayer title, preferably in Unreal Engine environment

The candidate will be embedded directly inside the development team and will work

with game design, tech animation and programmers on a daily basis to polish

gameplay experience.

Position 2 - Senior Gameplay Programmer (AI)

We are currently looking for a senior gameplay programmer (AI) to help our gameplay team and focus on the following topics:

·Implementing/Debugging/Optimizing AI behaviors using our in-house framework

·Create support tools

·Extend the AI framework

The candidate should have the following profile:

·At least 8 years of experience in gameplay programming with AI specialty, on shipped titles (ideally AAA titles)

·Excellent knowledge of C++ and good understanding of modern CPU architectures

·Good knowledge and understanding of multithreaded programming is a must

·Good 3D maths skills, good understanding of technical animation constraints

·Optimization &debugging experience on PC and consoles

·Significant experience with UnrealEngine is a must-have

·Experience on a multiplayer title, preferably in Unreal Engine environment
