This position will contribute to a product with a wide and growing range of features. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about learning and is energized by the prospect of working at an early-stage startup.
Our codebase is primarily JavaScript with React/Redux on the frontend and a Node.js API. We have a small team which is agile and flexible, so we’re interested in people who can contribute on multiple platforms. We process a tremendous amount of financial data –more than 100 million records on an average workday. We utilize a variety of backend technologies to accomplish this.
At Unhedged you can expect to:
- Contribute to a clean, scalable SPA using React and a modern build toolchain
- Design and deliver a full-featured mobile application using React Native
- Develop and maintain backend processes using our Node JS API as well as various supporting databases, services, and interfaces
- Solve challenging problems involving huge quantities of data with tremendous throughput
- Gain exposure to a wide range of frontend and backend technologies supporting a demanding and particular customer base
2+ years of professional JavaScript experience required. Knowledge of React Native, Redux, Kubernetes, and testing frameworks such as Cypress are a plus.
