This role will start at around 20 hours per week initially, with the view to increase this over time.
Our Technologies:
The technologies we use are Ruby on a Padrino/Sinatra platform for the back end, and Javascript, jQuery, and Bootstrap on the front end. Knowledge of HAML scripting is also critical as all our view templates are built using this templating methodology. We use MySQL as our data store and we host everything on AWS.
About You:
To apply for this role you must have extensive experience with Ruby and be an exceptionally talented developer, able to solve complex problems, and be able to work on mini development projects within our stack independently.
Experience in Vue.js and/or React will be highly regarded as we will be using one of these for new UI in the near future. A good understanding of Git development using development/staging/production branching is also an advantage.
As we are currently building out our API, prior experience and knowledge around building a REST API stack will also be highly regarded.
The Team:
Our head office is in Australia and you would be reporting directly to our co-Founder and CTO based there (you'd need to have at least some overlap of working hours with this timezone). We also have team members in Europe, Asia and the USA.
This is an ongoing role on a large and ongoing project. HR Partner has a large number of clients and further growth is expected.
