Hello Full Stack Developers,
We are Web Services Inc., an application development firm located in Knoxville, Tennessee. We build custom applications (https://www.webservicescorp.com) and own and operate two SaaS Applications (https://www.contentshelf.com &https://www.subscriptionsonly.com).
We are looking to immediately hire a remote Full Stack Developer.
This position is fast paced, challenging and rewarding. You’ll be part of a creative and cohesive team that creates, delivers and manages large complex applications with lots of cool features and logic.
You’ll start as part time (20 hrs) and will move to full time (40 hrs +) after a 30 day trial period. The pay range is between $30-$40 per hour depending on level of experience. This is a 1099 contract position.
To be considered for this position we require the timely completion of a code challenge which you will receive if your resume fits the qualifications we have outlined below.
Qualifications
- HTML5
- CSS 3
- JavaScript + jQuery (including Query Plugin Development)
- UX, UI, Responsive Web Design
- Bootstrap, Foundation, etc. (CSS frameworks in general)
- PHP 5.4+, CodeIgniter, Laravel, etc. (PHP frameworks in general)
- MySQL, SQLite (RDBNS databases in general)
- SOAP, REST
- GIT, SVN
Bonus Qualifications
- Linux, Shell
- Payment Gateways
- Recurring Billing Systems
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive dynamic database driven websites for our customers
- Work closely alongside our team with our inside in-house PHP framework
- Learn and work with in-house CSS framework
- Learn and work with in-house jQuery-powered widgets and plugins
