We Work Remotely
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a small cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with an understanding of basic UX and mobile design principles.

If you’re also familiar with Agile and startup culture - we would like to meet you.

Knowledge

  • Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, jQuery and LESS
  • Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Net, Java, Ruby and Python
  • Database and cache: Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached and Varnish
  • Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
  • Server: Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux
  • Excellent writing and communication skills

Must Haves

  • 4+ years of experience as a front end developer or full stack developer.
  • Self-reliant and able to operate with minimum direction.
  • Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to internal teams and sometimes investors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as handling multiple projects at the same time.
  • You take your work seriously but not yourself: You’re easy to get along with, work well as part of a team, and take and provide constructive criticism to achieve the best results.
  • You take a pragmatic, iterative approach to your work and enjoy solving problems.
  • Confidence and humility: You should have the confidence to trust your own judgment and explain to others your rationale for your recommendations. But, how you handle failure is more telling than how you handled success.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with Expo
  • Bilingual or multilingual
  • Product and/or project management
  • Experience working at a startup (or a few)
