Carex Consulting Group is currently hiring a Full Stack Web Developer for our Partner to help build its popular Growth Engine digital marketing software. This is a Direct Hire role in the Pittsburgh area, though we may consider remote candidates if they are a great fit!
About the day to day
- Develop backend APIs using CakePHP 3.7 to support the digital marketing functionality
- Integrate with 3rd party APIs including Facebook Graph, Facebook Marketing, Mailchimp, Google Ads, Twilio, and more
- Develop frontend platform functionality using Vue.js
- Create backend and frontend unit tests to support the stability of your features and functionality
- Follow Agile methodology and best practices
- Focus on app usability, stability, security, and performance
- Perform code deployments of new features and fixes
- Execute functional testing and be responsibility for quality of the code
- Solve customer issues and technical support for the solution
- Communicate features and improvements to necessary teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success
- Work with the product manager and broader development team(s) to deliver code on schedule and as bug free as possible
- Meet and exceed goals for deployment speed, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 3-10 years of experience with PHP and Javascript
- 3+ years of experience of MVC backend frameworks
- Experience or familiarity with CakePHP, Laravel, CodeIgnitor, or Yii preferred
- 2+ years of experience with Vue, React, Angular, or other Javascript frameworks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work remote (but will report to an office once accessible)
- Self starter;independent but collaborative
- AWS experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodology or similar development processes desired
