Full Stack Developer (Generalist)

Job Description

This position is responsible for working with our small but skilled development team to create and maintain our existing Javascript and legacy software suite. This position will be broad and would be best suited to someone who likes to work in many different technologies on a daily basis. A normal day for this position might include designing new features for our React web application, updating a feature in our React Native mobile application, fixing a bug in our legacy C++ reports or fixing a small deployment issue on our Centos servers. While it's possible to do all of this in one day;most likely you would be working in one of those areas for several days / weeks at a time producing meaningful headway in that space. However, being agile and having the ability to context switch quickly is essential for this role.

Minimum Requirements

Fast and decisive decision making.

At least 4 years of experience working with react and modern javascript frameworks.

Vast knowledge and experience with JavaScript (ES6+).

Strong working knowledge and experience with NodeJS.

Working knowledge of MySQL.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications

Some knowledge of CentOS/Ubuntu Linux OS.

Experience with and knowledge of PHP or C++ a nice plus.

Experience with React Native and maintaining live mobile applications.
