We are looking for an experienced digital project manager who has worked on cross-functional teams to join our distributed team. The Digital Project Manager will own key project initiatives, including client communication, development timelines, resourcing, scope management, sprint planning, and quality assurance testing.
This is a 100% remote position with preference given to EST time zones. This is an FT contract position.

Responsibilities
- Manages multiple competing priorities through effective organization and communication
- Creates and owns development timelines and project schedules
- Manages project risks and works with the team to identify mitigation plans
- Identifies development needs for all projects and communicates effectively to the team in accordance with timeline and budget
- Organizes and prioritizes development sprints in partnership with developers
- Partners with Senior Developers to create detailed tickets for developers and ensures tasks are moving per outlined timeline
- Sets up and manages the deployment of client Shopify Stores or custom rollout
- Has a good understanding of development, staging, and production environments
- Manages and configures applications and plug-ins in partnership with Senior Developers
- Manages communication channels with the client team in regards to technology needs and development tasks
- Collaborates with creatives and engineering to understand functional specifications and requirements
- Manages vendor relationships as well as freelance contracts as needed
- Ensures alignment of responsibilities with the team through external vendors for quality assurance testing and processes
Experience:
- 2-4 years experience working on website development projects with developers
- 1-3 years of Agile software development experience is a plus
- Agency experience a plus
- Shopify platform experience required
- CSM or PMP certifications are a plus
Skills
- Prior experience working at a digital agency and/or Shopify projects
- Strong understanding of business and functional requirements
- Understanding of third party applications and platforms as well as integrations
- Strong web and Mac desktop skills – we use Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) Figma, and various web-based tools such as Asana, Linear, JIRA, and Notion
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented
- Level-headed and positive attitude under pressure
- Ability to manage workload and consistently meet deadlines
- A passion for learning new skills
