We’re looking for a Data Operations Lead who will be connecting different data sources and systems and automating the synchronization of data, achieving a single source of truth. Using data-based problem solving, you will also be responsible for driving scale, effectiveness, standardization, and productivity. You will analyze large amounts of data to identify trends and root causes of various business problems and use this analysis to support improvement proposals across all the teams within our organization.

You'll be a key team member connecting the following processes: Operations, Finance, Sales, Services, Development, Product, and Marketing. You will be reporting and collaborating with our CEO, Gui, and Head of Operations, Ali. You'll play a critical role in optimizing our processes to improve revenue generation, influence how Publitas' commercial teams approach vital markets and help propel the company to the next milestone.


Responsibilities:
  • Owning recurring revenue (MRR/ARR) calculations and pipelines.
  • Collaborating with team leads across the business to understand and support their data needs.
  • Design and enact the process for using statistical inference to evaluate the success of changes, from product launches to marketing campaigns.
  • Building models to understand and predict user growth, future revenue, conversion, churn, and more.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards that teams rely on for making key decisions.
  • Communicate your findings with the rest of the company, create business cases, develop strategic recommendations for senior executives, and drive &verify changes in our product and business. (Insights are useful. Impact is even better!)
  • Curate, configure, and manage the technology stack used by our customers and internal teams.
  • Partner with strategic decision-makers in the organization, influence decisions, and lead meetings where you share insights to support change &decision-making within teams.
  • Partner with the finance team to bring analytical rigor to financial reporting, forecasting, and opportunity sizing.
  • Investigate data issues, perform deep-dive analysis, propose and execute solutions, and define project requirements for issue resolution.
  • Identify and eliminate any process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
  • Assist with CRM (Zendesk Sell) administration.
  • Create and maintain documentation on all processes and policies.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success in a role similar to Data Operations or Business Analyst.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills with a strong understanding of Zendesk Sell or other CRM applications.
  • Basic SQL knowledge (running queries to create reports or collect data for analysis).
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to extract critical business insights through data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of managing the entire data lifecycle.
  • Experience with data cleansing.
  • Understanding of data governance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks;proven strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re an analytical numbers person who is always trying to quantify the shape and size of a problem.
  • You are solution-oriented and collaborative;you know how to simplify your analysis for sales folks of all levels!
  • Excellent communication, listening, time management, and presentation skills;you truly enjoy telling the story behind data. Ability to coach technical and non-technical staff.
  • Comfortable liaising and influencing at all levels, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve errors calmly and effectively, even under pressure.
  • You’re honest, driven, and passionate about getting results and helping people.
  • You’re fluent in English.
