Summary:

We’re hiring an experienced Data Engineer/BI Developer to work 100% remotely for a global AdTech company.

The team is dealing with hundreds of millions of data points every day, generated from over two thousand data processes running through workflows, huge distributed computations in spark, streaming data coming in twenty-four hours a day at hundreds of times a second.

You would be making sure that the data in the pipelines is up to date and that the right information is provided for the team leaders and for the senior managers on the team

You will work closely with Web and Data teams across our entire stack, to deliver user-centric solutions to our customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, build and maintain analytics solutions and Python bases platforms and services.
  • Validate potential sources of data to meet reporting requirements
  • Write high quality, extensible and testable code by applying good engineering practices (TDD, SOLID)
  • Proactively identify and help fixing production and non-production application issues
  • Develop reports, documents and dashboards
  • Provide high level estimate of effort and risk regarding the expected deliverables

What You Should Know:

  • 2+ years using Python
  • 1+ years using a BI Tool (preferably Tableau)
  • Experience in data processing (Hadoop, Spark, AWS - S3)
  • Running ETL processes
