Hello! Are you ready to Work from Home and transform your career?
We're looking for a Data Architect (Thunderhead One) to join the engineering team at Modus. Want to help our clients build awesome solutions to accomplish their goals and vision? Are you interested in working from home with some of the best talents on the planet? Then keep reading.
About You
You love building great software. Your work could be supporting new feature development, migrating existing features, or creating APIs. Your focus will be creating a state-of-the-art Journey Orchestration and Customer Data Platform.
You will have to apply knowledge of common, relevant architecture frameworks in defining and evaluating application architectures. You understand Agile software development, DevOps practices, and can work closely with teams (QA, integration, delivery) to optimize your code. You have experience with designing and building APIs, as well as with SQL, Data Modelling, and Data Analytics. A deep understanding of creating and executing unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans is also required.
Additionally, you have experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and are able to lead a team in building a journey orchestration (CDP) platform for collecting, unifying, and connecting customer data with applications. You are familiar with Thunderhead One and applications for campaign and channel interactions management, web, mobile and social engagements, in addition to analytics and reporting. You can build products and capabilities (e.g., for personalization, segmentation, data privacy management) that allow business and technical partners to easily integrate with the journey orchestration platform and help them use customer data to build remarkable solutions. Also, you can leverage industry best practices and experience to ensure that security is baked into operating practices. You own a DevSecOps and shift-left on security mentality. Experience with Digital Marketing in the Commercial space will be considered as an asset.
You relish creating high-quality code from the comfort of your own home. Your engineering projects will focus on understanding customers' needs and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production-ready code.
You love learning. Engineering is an ever-evolving world. You enjoy playing with new tech and exploring areas that you might not have experience with yet. You are a self-driven, self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in your community.
Having overlap with your team is critical when working in a global remote team. Modus requires all team members to overlap with EST morning hours daily. In addition, reliable high-speed internet is a must.
