Cypress Javascript Automation Engineer - remote

We are looking for an enthusiastic software automation tester with manual testing experience to join our team. This position is 100% remote, contract-based, meaning you will work from the comfort of your home but we need you to be available during the CET normal working hours.

Should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Functional testing with:

• Knowledge of SDLC;

• Experience working with JIRA;

• Experience in functional testing of web-based/client-server applications;

• Understanding of test automation tools/frameworks;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems;

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering and/or another related discipline, or equivalent experience is a plus;

• Proven experience in functional testing of web-based applications (front-end, backend testing);

• Focus on Quality and results-oriented mindset;

• Develop, maintain, and execute Functional Test Cases in JIRA/ TestRail with respect to the project requirements;

• Defect tracking and reporting;

• Contribute to the QA Artifacts as per the Company standards;

• Participate in all Project related meetings;

• Weekly reporting to Team Manager, Development and Business Stakeholders;

• Planning and coordination of test phases;

• Reporting on test progress;

• Support during UAT phase;

• Support for Automation testing;
