Project Summary:
AIM's customer has their applications and services running in the Azure cloud. We are looking for an experienced DevOps leader than can help identify the delivery of features and code can be accelerated by establishing robust DevOps practices and automation. Consultants with a strong understanding of the full devops lifecycle from code build out of sourcecode repository, infrastructure/environment deployment, infrastructure as code/configuration as code, test automation Integration processes, deployment automation, and then Logging, Monitoring, alerting tools –AppInsights, Splunk, etc. Our AIM consultant will be working in partnership with the client on the following strategies:
- Crafting a deployment strategy for the existing Availability search and Feasibility architecture
- Defining an optimal database deployment strategy
- Instituting the best tooling needed to accomplish best-practice release management goals
- Creating a solid DevOps strategy for our client's development team(s)
- Working with our customer's parent company DevOps team to align with their existing DevOps best practices and security tooling
Must haves:
- Experience. Need 5+ years of working with Azure solutions. Need 2+ years of Azure DevOps/Pipeline automation experience
- Strong familiarity with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB structures
- Strong familiarity with ARM (Azure Resource Management) Templates
- Strong communication/leadership skills
Nice to haves:
- Experience with Crowd strike, Vericode, Netscope
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
- Azure certifications
