AWS Devops Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain highly available and scalable production systems
- Automate repetitive tasks using industry tools and scripting languages
- Conduct security scans for compliance and patching using industry tools
- Monitor hosts, services and applications to ensure program service agreements
- Manage core production systems, including changes and updates
- Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
- Provide support during off-hours (nights and weekends) when necessary
- Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3-4 years of DevOps engineering experience
- Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
- Experience writing Python, Bash, Jenkins Pipeline, Groovy
- Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Git
- Experience in working with Chef for automation and configuration.
- Experience configuring Amazon Web Services or similar cloud-based platforms with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch and ELK Stack
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
- AWS DevOps Engineer certification is a plus
