Job Description
Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Network and Edge group (NEX) as a Test Engineer! Barefoot Networks (BXD) is part of the Ethernet Networking Division in Intel's NEX, and we're looking for motivated, passionate and talented engineers to join our Operations team. BXD is a strong, vibrant cross-site team which helps drive Intel's Ethernet technology and products to position Intel x86 as the server platform of choice and Intel Ethernet products as Ethernet of choice for the Cloud, Communications and Data Center deployments.
In this role as an ATE (Automated Testing Equipment) Test Engineer, you should have a track record in delivering products in the semiconductor model with knowledge covering the full manufacturing flow including fab, test, DFT, package assembly and qualification. You will be responsible for developing test programs and hardware for wafer probe and package test for characterization and production testing of high performance networking and machine learning ICs. You'll utilize the ATE equipment tools and capabilities to optimize final test programs without compromising the quality of outgoing products. You will also be responsible for developing and working with external suppliers/vendors on execution of test and characterization plans and supporting the full life cycle of the product from design to volume manufacturing.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Work with Design, DFT and Product Engineering teams to translate concepts to product testing requirements, develop documentation, load board and socket design specifications, and ATE final test programs
Design high performance IC test vectors for Power/Voltage/Temperature (PVT) corners, signal and power integrity characterization and participate in silicon debug, electrical failure analysis (EFA) and physical failure analysis (PFA)
Develop high speed analog and digital interface test methodologies and implement ATE test, characterization programs and work with IC and systems design teams on correlation
Define/develop ATE hardware, probe card, socket and load boards with test hardware suppliers.
Work on wafer and package level test hardware and software development and bring up offshore test house by completing necessary correlation analysis.
Establish manufacturing requirements and specification for delivery of the product and drive to close potential test gaps and correlations issues across the product supply chain
Manage interactions with local and offshore test vendors to ensure deployment of test programs with high quality.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below:
