WHAT YOU DO
As a Software Support Engineer, part of the expanding Product Team, this role is primarily related to production support. You will be troubleshooting using technical skills focusing on SQL, C#, VB.Net and site administration. As someone who is passionate about technology, you will potentially get to do some development work too! Our global Clients rely on you to solve technical and business-related problems and because you are self-motivated and love driving tasks, this comes easy to you. You will be communicating with both internal and external teams continually picking up new work and closing issues using a defined queue by thinking inside and outside the box.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong English skills, both written and spoken. Able to communicate technical issues to non-technical teams and explaining the business impact.
  • 1 plus years supporting .net web applications.
  • 1 plus years troubleshooting application issues, IIS site configuration, site performance, and business logic bugs.
  • 1 plus years working in a Production environment with live sites and data.
  • 1 plus years troubleshooting and communicating findings (identifying issues, checking logs, reviewing code, researching, performing fixes, documenting findings.)
  • 1 plus years with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL programming including familiarity with views, stored procedures, complex scripts, and query plan execution.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Familiarity with basic Windows Server administration tasks (web servers, IIS, reading logs, restarting services, editing config files, etc.)
  • Experience with Visual Studio, TFS other Dev tools
  • Experience writing C#.NET and/or VB.NET code
  • Familiarity with Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks
  • Familiarity with agile software development processes
  • Gets complex concepts, learns quickly and can navigate changing conditions

EDUCATION

  • Degree in a technical/business-related discipline or equivalent work experience
