The Analytics Platform at Pinterest is responsible for many of the most used internal tools at Pinterest that drive internal productivity for our engineers and data scientists. We are looking for inquisitive, well-rounded full-stack engineers to join our team to develop internal tooling for ML and workflow use cases. You will have the unique opportunity to work on numerous greenfield projects aimed at significantly improving the productivity of Pinterest employees and shaping the future vision of the machine learning development cycle.
What you’ll do
- Drive the internal productivity improvements for machine learning and data processing.
- Collaborate with various cross functional stakeholders ranging from every org to establish the future vision for machine learning.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of the latest industry trends to discover the cutting edge use cases for data automation and machine learning.
- Mentor team members and participate actively in design and code reviews, team processes and architectural decisions.
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in full stack web development, particularly familiar with tech stacks such as Flask, React, Next.js.
- Solid experience with Typescript and Python.
- Experience with developing full stack web apps with MySQL/Redis and worked with CI/CD systems such as Docker, K8s, and Jenkins.
- Expertise with building enterprise tooling solutions from the ground up.
- Passion for the application developments and hands-on experience in building many internal tools.
