Title: Senior Manager, Analytics &Data Science

We’re looking for a Manager, Data Science and Analytics to lead a team of data professionals in solving customer, product, and business problems through advanced analytics, machine learning models, and data infrastructure improvements.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and lead the data team, including data analytics, data science, and data engineering
  • Oversee effective data management and deliverables across 4 areas of focus:
    • Product: Data available to users and other data within the application
    • BI: Data available to company leaders and other company stakeholders
    • Customers: Data available to enterprise customers
    • ML: Data management for machine learning applications
    • Partner across Product and Engineering to advance our AI/ML capabilities and incorporate AI into our product by assisting in model selection, implementation, and optimization
    • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing data team made up of data analysts, data engineers and data scientists
    • Utilize your strong project management skills to ensure the teams efficient and effective delivery of data-related projects for cross-functional stakeholders
    • Effectively leverage our data warehouse and tools like Snowflake, Sigma, Mixpanel, and Google Analytics
    • Advise product and engineering leadership as a member of the management team, continually improving the company as a whole while simultaneously learning and growing as a leader

      About You:

      • 2+ years of experience managing a team of data professionals whom youve helped to grow and develop while maintaining their focus on project delivery and business outcomes
      • 5+ years experience in a data science or analytics role for a B2B SaaS product company
      • Experience building and training predictive models that leverage AI/ML
      • A degree or equivalent experience in statistics, mathematics, analytics, or any related quantitative field
      • Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to move fluently between metrics and business outcomes, reinforcing and ultimately championing those connections for others
      • Strong proficiency with data visualization and data-driven storytelling
      • Proficient with the use of BI and data analysis tools, data warehousing, various analysis methods, and higher level data concepts
      • Fluency with SQL and Python
      • Familiarity with data architecture, process design, and building ETL pipelines using vendor solutions like Stitch
      • An interest in and an awareness of data privacy and compliance considerations
      • Open to working with a team spanning US-Pacific to US-East time

          Compensation at NoRedInk is robust and includes a full range of benefits, unlimited PTO, monthly co-working stipends, an initial home-office set up stipend, and generous equity. Our salary ranges are based on factors such as expectations as laid out in the job description, location-specific market data, internal parity, and the experience and skills of individual candidates. Therefore, the compensation range is $150,000 –$200,000. and accounts for a variety of locations and skills/experience.
