The Captive Paralegal will be responsible for providing legal support and assistance to the insurance captive team within the organization. This role will involve working closely with attorneys, insurance professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to captive insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct legal research and analysis on captive insurance laws and regulations.

2. Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, including contracts, policies, and agreements.

3. Support attorneys in drafting legal correspondence and pleadings related to captive insurance matters.

4. Maintain and organize legal files and documentation related to captive insurance activities.

5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

6. Assist in the coordination of legal TRAVEL”>TRAVEL”>meetings, hearings, and other related activities.

7. Stay updated on changes in captive insurance laws and regulations to provide timely and accurate legal advice.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field.

2. Certified Paralegal designation preferred.

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a legal environment, preferably in insurance law or captive insurance.

4. Strong research and analytical skills.

5. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

6. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.

7. Knowledge of captive insurance laws and regulations is a plus.
