Summary

The Jr. Graphic Designer is a key contributor to the marketing team and will work closely with the Art Director and other Graphic Designers. This role will help to ensure marketing materials are updated in a timely fashion and proper brand guidelines are followed. In addition, the Jr. Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting the Graphic Designer and Art Director with managing the visual and creative marketing assets across digital and print channels. This includes collateral, social media assets, email templates, direct mail and advertising for corporate marketing as well as for local marketing initiatives.

In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, this role assists with:

  • Updating and/or modifying existing marketing and sales materials ensuring adherence to all applicable brand guidelines
  • Working with other members of the creative team in design and development of templates, marketing materials, and more
  • Creating and updating sales and client presentations as appropriate
  • Responsible for updating employee titles and bios in all locations where the bios reside, e.g., collateral, presentation slides
  • Managing and editing various photo assets including employee headshots
  • Designing, creating, updating, and maintaining excellent presentations, charts, and infographics to support the communications teams
  • Incorporate the company’s brand guidelines, aesthetics, and tone into designs.
  • Assist in the maintenance of brand guidelines

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar field
    • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design with a portfolio of work
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite including PowerPoint, Word, InDesign, and Photoshop
    • Willing to learn new technologies

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

      • Knowledge of basic marketing design skills and what will drive response
      • Excellent time management, problem-solving skills, and ability to adhere to a project timelines
      • Team player who can work collaboratively with other departments, partners, and marketing teammates
      • Must be self-motivated, self-starter, and have a sense of urgency
      • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times and under all circumstances
      • Must be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize deliverables
      • Experience working in a fast paced, highly regulated, ever-changing industry
      • Superior attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication and proofreading skills
      • Strong proven PowerPoint skills recommended

        Work Schedule

        Monday through Friday, 8:00AM –5:00PM

        Working Conditions

        Professional office environment, daytime hours, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a work station.
