Join our dynamic team as a Customer Marketing Specialist, where you will take ownership of all content, production, communications, and community management in the post-sale ecosystem. Your mission is to drive revenue through customer engagement, advocacy, and strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring our customers not only stay but thrive and grow with us.

Goals

  • Revenue Generation: Increase revenue by driving customer expansion from initial purchases to additional licenses and features. Encourage customers to scale from 1-2 licenses to dozens.
  • Advocacy: Enhance the customer experience to generate reviews, testimonials, case studies, and referrals, creating a self-sustaining growth loop.
  • Value Addition: Provide exceptional value through education, training, and content, becoming the trusted advisor for industry best practices beyond our services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Customer Communications: Develop and manage intelligent, tailored communication strategies addressing customer feedback, product updates, billing, pricing, events, and trainings. Ensure all communications make our customer base happier and more engaged.
    • Community Management: Moderate and engage the customer community through Botkeeper University. Create and manage content such as certifications, training materials, and general announcements.
    • Advocacy Campaigns: Implement targeted advocacy campaigns to leverage customer satisfaction for reviews, testimonials, and case studies. Reinvigorate past successful initiatives and scale them.
    • Data-Driven Content Strategy: Analyze knowledge base and support ticket data to identify content gaps. Develop and update knowledge base articles, landing pages, emails, and webinars to address common customer issues.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, customer success, and other customer-facing functions to ensure alignment and enhance the overall customer experience.

      • Customer Journey Management: Oversee the customer journey from acquisition to advocacy, aligning marketing efforts to drive product adoption, increased utilization, and value realization.
      • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong connections with customers to ensure ongoing value and success throughout the relationship lifecycle.
      • Content Development: Partner with the content team to create materials that increase customer engagement, including case studies, references, and customer speaker programs.
      • Digital Integration: Collaborate with the digital business team to create usage-based triggers and corresponding messaging.
      • Performance Tracking: Monitor performance against quarterly pipeline targets and recommend additional campaigns or programs as needed.

        Skills &Qualifications

        • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications;MBA preferred.
        • Experience: 3-10 years in marketing, with a strong preference for SaaS and B2B experience, particularly in customer marketing.
        • Marketing Expertise: Data-driven approach to marketing with the ability to translate software capabilities into business benefits.
        • Content Creation: Proven experience in developing customer messaging and translating data into compelling stories.
        • Campaign Execution: Experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
        • Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external customers.
        • Customer Focus: Strong orientation towards customer success and engagement, with the ability to communicate professionally with senior executives.
        • Global Mindset: Proven ability to partner with regional marketing teams in a matrixed environment.
        • HubSpot Tools: Experience preferred
