Position Overview:
We are keen on welcoming a virtual paralegal who:
- Holds expertise in H1B visas- experience with other employment visas a plus
- Comes with a minimum of three years of business immigration experience.
- Has been engaged in a law firm setting within the past six months.
- Is technologically proficient, especially with Word, Excel, Adobe, and preferably with immigration software like DocketWise.

You can expect to:
- Operate with significant independence.
- Be responsible for maintaining timely communication with clients between 9am –6pm with a close responsiveness commitment.

The selected paralegal will come on board as a W-2 employee (not a 1099 independent contractor), with availability up to 35 hours per week.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of recent (within the last six months) experience working with H1B visas
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures, particularly related to H1B visas
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically
- A high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Proficiency in using legal software and databases
- Experience with immigration software like DocketWise.
- Expert proficiency in utilizing all programs within Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Availability to respond to requests within an hour during the hours of 9 AM –6 PM Monday –Friday
- Your own laptop and smart phone with broadband access to Internet
These skills would be a plus:
- Experience with other business immigration visas
- Experience with family immigration visas
