Sonocent - remote jobs

Our 13-strong team of devs tackles everything from styling the front end to debugging our Kubernetes deployment. We move between areas of the product according to need and are constantly learning new things and supporting one another. We are light on process and aim to release a couple of times a week. We work closely with our product team to make awesome things. Audio Notetaker is the revolutionary desktop application which has made Sonocent what it is today, enabling students who need accommodation to get maximum value from their lectures. It is feature-rich, enabling users to visualise the audio they are capturing alongside their notes and lecture handouts. It has been a fantastic success, is under active development and is still paying our bills as the company expands. Glean is our next-generation audio capture and note-taking web app. We have taken the most valuable bits of Audio Notetaker and focused on keeping the UI clean and intuitive. Data is synced to the cloud when WiFi is available, simplifying the transfer between devices. We’re currently putting it through its paces in beta testing and it is now supporting over 1,000 active users in their studies. The Glean Mobile App is currently being developed to allow people to capture their lecture on a lightweight device and then review on something with a larger screen and keyboard later.
