As a Video Editor and Videographer on our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging video content for YouTube and other social media platforms. Additionally, you will use your creative skills to work with our team to plan, film, edit and promote video content.
Responsibilities include ensuring the necessary filming equipment is available for use, coordinating needs with the presenter of the video, and editing film footage. This position reports up to the Chief of Marketing and PPC manager.

As video has become a key strategy for communicating our message on digital and traditional platforms, this position will play an important role across the organization.

- Work closely with Creative and Marketing teams to support major product and brand initiatives, ensuring consistent brand guidelines are represented in all video regardless of type
- Shoot and edit video footage for marketing needs - with a priority of focus on website, Ad content (YouTube primary), socials media material
- Edit long and short form social videos
- Use different techniques to enhance the videos as required
- Recommend creative ideas to exceed expectations of goals and objectives
- Use artistic knowledge to enhance and compose videos
- Shoot/Edit Custom Content, such as campaign videos, ads, behind-the-scenes pieces, etc.
- Help establish brand identity and consistency through video
- Assist in file organization and sharing across teams and stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, ability to share files with other team members, as well as being able to work directly off of other team members files
- Strong written and visual communication skills and the ability to collaborate across various departments
- Upload videos in all formats in including RAW to the company storage platform!
- 3-5+ years Video/photo shooting, video editing skills
- Proven knowledgeable/portfolio with making commercial style videos for YouTube
- Experience with camera operation, shot framing, etc
- Proficiency in video editing software: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects
- Previous experience with audio and lighting setup
- Previous experience with explainer videos
- Open-minded about feedback on your videos and a willingness to improve your work
- Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while never losing sight of details and meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated and a thoughtful, yet quick problem solver
- Patience and positive attitude with a collaborative approach
- Creative drive to explore brand-new approaches to video storytelling
- Experience editing videos for variety of platforms - organic social, ads, YouTube
- Understand the latest trends in social media and video creation!
- Anime knowledge, or you are extraordinary with researching and following trends related to ANIME and MANGA
- This is a real job. Not a side hustle, or gig.
- For immediate start. Full-time employees only 8h per day, 40h per week Monday - Friday JST
