UX designer at Payoneer Orchestration team will create UX for a range of Portal modules, including Onboarding and Team management modules, navigation and page layouts for Desktop and Mobile, a large part of Design System. You will have an opportunity to create new unique products from scratch and improve experiences for existing products, using insights from research, data, team collaboration, and your own experience. You will be expected to research problem and solution space proactively, initiate and run user research and analyze user behavior data, communicate with tech, operations, and business stakeholders.
Team setup
The role is opened in a freshly-formed cross-functional team headed by the Merchant Management and Onboarding Product Lead. You will partner with another UX designer and a team of engineers.
UX Designer Responsibilities
- Oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our users
- Design end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple and elegant
- Craft designs within existing visual systems and/or standards
- Solicit and provide feedback from partners to continually improve the quality of our products through multiple iterations exploring a range of design options
- Proactively solicit and provide feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually raise our bar for quality, while also taking on a mentorship
- Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Payoneer products
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience building and shipping applications or software at the level of whole features across a variety of platforms
- Interaction Design skills defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs. Experience using prototyping skills to demonstrate how a particular flow or interaction will work
- Strategic product thinker with experience understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact on people and the company
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Ability to run user research initiatives
- Experience representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to showcase your end to end design process across multiple projects, that include interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes
- Experience designing for diverse groups of people (international audiences, multi-language localization, accessibility for people with disabilities, etc.)
- Experience connecting your work with other cross-product initiatives within the company to drive collaboration
