At The Events Calendar, you will be a part of a diverse team that is fully remote. We're looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our team. The main UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. This role will help us define all aspects of our projects: user flow, core UI elements, and interaction patterns and intuitive visual design. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base, and ensure our product continues to impress.
As a UI/UX Designer you would:
- Passionately advocate for a simple, unified, and amazing user experience across all our systems
- Create flow diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to communicate design strategies
- Contribute to the development of design guidelines and patterns with a focus on consistency across systems
- Perform and implement user research for surveys and feedback
- Collaborate on scenarios, end-to-end experiences, and screen designs
- Research design and development techniques to find innovative and elegant solutions to complex UI problems
- Ensure our systems meet accessibility standards
- Utilize A/B testing process to make informed suggestions for improvement
You Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in design or HCI, or equivalent professional experience as a UX designer
- 5+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s Degree
- Proficiency in displaying data to generate meaningful user insights
- Able to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with dashboard design, interactivity, and usability
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
