As a Technical Product Owner, you’ll have the opportunity to guide our teams and customers in building the next generation of connected software systems. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the Agile Scrum process for our teams and the customer to achieve the project and business goals.
    • Management of product vision, roadmap and value ensuring alignment among various stakeholders.
    • Setup of tool to be used in user story and technical task management
    • Change management and communication to Stakeholders
    • Tracking open issues with Stakeholders and working to resolution
    • Backlog ownership
      • User story creation, clarification, and readiness
      • Management of backlog priority
      • Management of releases
      • Acceptance of completed stories
    • Understanding company business objectives and value to ensure alignment with the work our development team is completing
    • Involvement in Scrum ceremonies to confirm priorities and provide feedback
    • Primary communicator between Stakeholders and Scrum Team
    • Inspection and evaluation of progress in each iteration and course correcting when necessary
  • Educate and close the knowledge gap on the software development process for our customers.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the Delivery process to drive efficiencies and better interaction between all parties.
  • Work closely with the Scrum Master to communicate technical options to Stakeholder
  • Contribute to our culture through coaching our teams, communicating truth to our customers, and making sure our development team is delivering every day.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years experience in delivering or developing technical software solutions.
  • Desire to function as a consultant to our customers to drive them to build the optimal solution for their business.
  • Product Owner experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to navigate difficult situations and drive alignment across the teams.
  • Experience in managing people or teams, as the Technical Product Owner will be responsible for coaching the entire team on ways to meet our goals.
  • Someone who loves the culture of a small company and enjoys working on every part of the project life cycle: project kickoff, execution, testing, and closure.
  • Ability to gather feedback, identify trends, interpret issues, and build back into our procedures for continuous improvement.
  • A desire to learn, and share what you’ve learned through a variety of avenues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: teamwork is very important to us.
