ScrapingBee is a web scraping API that simplifies the extraction of data from the web. The company was founded in 2019 by Pierre de Wulf and Kevin Sahin. After a small funding round in 2020 with Tinyseed, ScrapingBee is profitable and growing strongly.
This role's main aim is to increase qualified traffic to the website via high-quality developer-focused content.
SEO has always been the main acquisition channel for ScrapingBee, and we’re now looking for an experienced SEO Content Writer with a focus on developer-targeted content.
Job Description
- Create high-quality, developer-focused tutorials, articles, website copy, and other content assets optimized for search engines.
- Update and optimize existing content to add value to the user’s journey and rank higher.
- Copy, edit and proofread content.
- Stay updated on SEO best practices and algorithm updates and implement necessary changes in our content approach.
Requirements
- Experience creating tutorials for developers.
- Strong On-page SEO knowledge.
- Understanding of web scraping and its technologies.
- Ability to adhere to a brief.
- Produce content in Markdown format for Hugo CMS.
- Fluent oral and written English.
