We are Producement a startup product engineering studio founded by a team of ex-Wise engineers who fell in love with the process of building great products. After leaving Wise, they started the mission to help early-stage founders build and deliver scalable MVPs.

We work closely with early stage startups and provide them MVP/CTO as a service for cash and equity, help them scale the product and secure funding for the next round.

We're looking for a Tech Lead, with  experienced in Java, Spring Boot, React, to join the core team and help us take startups to the next level.

And, we need a talented Tech Lead to join our mission.

As Tech Lead you’ll be heavily involved in the development life-cycle of the solutions provided to each startup, from design to coding and testing. Communication and coaching plays a big role in this position, helping the team overcome blockers in their work and ensuring a healthy culture.

With us you will have the opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding high standards and setting a clear technical agenda within the team, generating a significant impact on the growth of the teammates.

Ideally, you should have: 

  • A passion for startups and lean startup methodology (if you haven’t read the book, do it!)
  • A strong product development &data-driven mindset
  • Experience working with: Java, Spring Boot &React
  • Bonus points for experience with Kotlin, Typescript, AWS, TDD, CI/CD
  • Ability to set goals and crush them
  • Great communications skills: ability to carry out customer interviews &present your ideas to relevant stakeholders
  • An analytical, yet creative, approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work as a team player and deliver results in a remote cross-functional and cross-cultural working environment
  • Fluent English is a must.
What does success look like?

  • Work on new projects every 6-12 months and build MVPs from scratch
  • Manage product technical roadmaps
  • Work directly with the founding members of the startups and experience the highs and lows together with the team (we work as tight-knit teams with the startups we invest in and build products for)
  • Invest in startups through your contribution (sweat equity)
  • Champion knowledge sharing sessions with the team on technical and non-technical topics like health &fitness, beer brewing at home, investing, and much more
  • Lead initiatives to improve our company-wide engineering culture and discover ways to multiply the effectiveness of the team and the organisation
