Social Media + Community Manager - remote

For this role we are seeking the following experience and skills. Please email a copy of your CV if you meet the requirements.

  • Minimum of 3 years social media and community management experience, ideally with an event company or at least with a B2B focused company.
  • Proficiency on all major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Xing, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Clubhouse, WhatsApp, TikTok...)
  • As we have a very heavy social media focus on Linkedin, we require strong experience on Linkedin (key success factors for successful community building, latest evolutions of the platform…)
  • Experience in creating and executing a social media strategy, tailored to each of our channels
  • Experience in creating engaging (and witty!) content delivered on a timely manner following and leveraging latest news headlines 
  • Experience in building and nurturing an online community: responding to comments, shares, following thought leaders, sharing and resharing content
  • Experience in using growth hacking automation tools on social media to engage with our target audience at scale
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities within our Social Media efforts
  • Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders (especially with sponsors/customers) to meet shared objectives and respect the constraints of co-branded activities (approval for the content and for the publishing timing) 
  • Some basic editing skills on image &video assets (Canva…) are a plus on top of the support of our Graphic Designer &Video Editor
  • We grew our community almost only organically and very little via paid campaigns, but we consider investing much more on Social Media Marketing either via the support of our Social Media Manager or via the support of a dedicated SEO/SMO Specialist. For that reason, expertise in Paid Social Media + Google PPC Marketing ROI would be a strong plus

Soft skills:

  • Fluent verbal and written English proficiency. A second or third european language among our key markets is a bonus (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch)
  • Excellent communication skills, orally &in writing to drive engagement and interest on Social Media.
  • Extraverted and people oriented (upbeat, positive, can do attitude, good sense of humour!)
  • High energy (to adapt to our fast paced company culture and to get the ball rolling and hit the ground running)
  • Diligent (strong sense of emergency, fast, both a strategic and tactical practitioner with a planned strategy, versatile, able to deal with ambiguity)
  • Persistent (gets the job done, consistent, continues to follow through to achieve results)

  • Synthetical mind in order to present to management a clear overview of the situation outlining determining factors and key action plans resulting from these factors
Compensation: Competitive Market Rates

Required activities include: 

  • Provide marketing qualified leads (MQLs) for both the sales team and the delegates recruitment team
  • Create a content calendar for what to post according to the social media schedule across all our channels: corporate posts, announcements (speakers, media partnerships…) and co-branded communications with sponsors
  • Edit and curate all social media content (both company presentation on all channels and individual posts) in all type of forms (written copy and image/video assets) independently as well as working across the DELIVER team
  • Engage daily with the community, especially on Linkedin, across our posts, social media messages (ex: InMessages on LinkedIn) and event pages
  • Work closely with our sponsors in the run up to our events to include co-branded announcement posts in our schedule
  • Implement most suited social media automation tools
  • Scoop trends, identify best-in-class strategies, monitor competitors’ communications 
  • Ensure our content and social posts positively reflect the DELIVER brand
  • Monitor and report performance (community growth and engagement) on a continuous basis to continuously implement improvement plans 
  • Create social media adverts and campaigns (especially on LinkedIn) and other social medi

Working conditions:

  • Full remote
  • Contract-based/freelance, registered for tax in country of residence
  • Working days &hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm CET
  • Country of residence is not a key driver to fill the position but cultural proximity and work from one of our 7 key countries (UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Belgium) is a strong plus
  • High speed cable internet access &modern laptop with excellent video cam and sound functionality
  • Dedicated and quiet workspace, to not be disturbed by family members, pets or ambient noise, especially when on calls with external stakeholders and colleagues.
