Penn Interactive (PI) is an interactive gaming company headquartered in Philadelphia with offices in Las Vegas, NV and Cherry Hill, NJ. As the digital arm to Penn National Gaming (NASDAQ: PENN), we are poised for fast-paced growth in the sports betting and online casino space and are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our expanding Barstool Sportsbook team!

The Sr. Site Reliability Engineer will work on a small, cross-functional team, being at the front lines, building pipelines, tackling production issues and utilizing the latest and greatest cloud technologies. We’re looking for excited individuals who want to be immersed in AWS and Automation, and believe heavily in the focus on Availability, Reliability and Durability. 

 Responsibilities

  • Build, automate, maintain, scale, and monitor all PI systems using best practices, with reliability and scalability in mind
  • Work closely with backend engineering teams to debug and fix issues as they arise
  • Implement high-quality release engineering practices to facilitate rapid development, safe changes, and engineer productivity
  • Identify weaknesses in our infrastructure and dives headfirst into fixing them

Requirements

  • 5+ years building CI/CD pipelines and using pipeline tooling
  • 3+ years working heavily within an AWS cloud environment (ECS, Lambda, HA Architecture)
  • 3+ years coding/scripting in Python and working with RESTful APIs
  • Strong Docker production experience (Docker Swarm, ECS, Kubernetes, etc)
  • Experience with production support issues, and how to remediate in a timely manner
  • Strong familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
  • Experience working with applications requiring compliance audits
