About the Position:

To date, RiseKit has secured two nationwide contracts. We are looking for Ruby on Rails Backend Engineers to help our software scale and provide a superb user-experience. 

RiseKit is seeking full-time Ruby on Rails Backend Engineers. The position includes responsibility for developing integrations, data platforms, and improving the codebase behind RiseKit. This position will be flexible with some remote work and requires a commitment of 40 hours a week.

4+ years of software development experience.

Help manage an offshore team and hit product deadlines.

You must be able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment, and meet required schedules and timelines.

Familiarity with all layers of the web development stack (from database and infrastructure, to Javascript and CSS), but with a specific focus on backend infrastructural challenges like optimizing indexing and caching.

You should be proficient in Ruby on Rails, Javascript, RSpec, PostgreSQL, and Sidekiq, our default tools.

Familiarity with React or similar framework is nice to have.

Continuous Integration and deployment with GitHub, Terraform and AWS.

Join customer and investor meetings as needed.

Ability to work on a remote team.
