This position is 100% remote but to better serve our customers, this person must sit in PST.
Atlassian is looking for a Senior Program Manager for our Product Growth team, reporting to the Group Program Manager for the department.
In this role you will drive multi-quarter project delivery, collaboration, transparency, and risk remediation across cross-functional teams. You should be comfortable interacting and presenting to leaders, cross-department managers, and project teams, to drive a portfolio of programs. You will keep track of the big picture goals, dive deep into the technical details and anticipate blockers before they happen. You are a center of team spirit, and you craft and implement pathways to improve the team.
Your Future Team
- The Product Growth team contributes in Atlassian’s overall success by discovering new users and launching new experiences, quickly. Instead of focusing building a single product, the team works across the entire product portfolio and identifies new opportunities constantly. The main driver for the team is to build new experiences that create major value for customers by reducing friction and increasing access and visibility.
What You’ll Do
- You will be responsible for program delivery for a core set of programs and initiatives;bringing the group’s strategy to life.
- Anticipate and remove barriers that risk successful delivery, and enable cross-program cohesion.
- Negotiate across many teams and stakeholders to broker commitments and program roadmaps, driving a high degree of predictability;re-baselining based on new information and effectively managing complex dependencies.
- Ensure the team you work with is planning and setting the right goals, and executing on those goals efficiently with good tracking and reporting methods.
- Manage monthly OKR and other status reporting, and drive team-level planning processes.
- Be the champion for organizational effectiveness.
Your background
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience working with product, engineering, design and related functions.
- Bachelor’s (or above) degree in Business, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- You are an excellent collaborator and communicator that can inspire change across teams.
- You have experience working on programs leveraging analytics for data-driven experimentation.
- You are familiar with Agile methodologies and are able to draw upon best practices, patterns and agile frameworks to build pathways for autonomous, empowered, and lasting teams for a future Atlassian.
It will be great but not mandatory
- Experience working in the workplace collaboration or productivity space.
- Experience with program management at a high-growth software company.
- Experience working with remote, global, and cross-functional teams and matrix organizations, and an understanding of SaaS business models.
