Senior Product Manager, Platform - remote

What You’ll Do
We are seeking an experienced Platform Product Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will ideally have a blend of product management, sales, and customer success experience, working directly under the Vice President of Product. This crucial role requires the ability to understand the big picture in order to create functionality that spans multiple product lines.
As Senior Platform Product Manager, you will engage cross-functionally with our internal teams to help design, plan and build the platform functionality that accelerates the development of the feature teams. Example features this role will own include user setup &configuration, role-based access control, billing and licensing, multi-product navigation, and third party integrations,
You are a self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment with experience in taking ownership of product management activities and be a key liaison between engineering, product management, marketing, and sales. You will take technical requirements from both internal and external customers and transform them into deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Product Strategy: Collaborate with the VP of Product to formulate and implement our technical product strategy, ensuring alignment with market needs and our company’s growth objectives.
- Product Roadmap: Contribute to the development and management of the product roadmap, incorporating both technical and user-focused requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with key internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and engineering teams, to gather and prioritize technical product requirements.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle, ensuring successful execution of each phase from conception to end-of-life stages.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, UX/UI, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of product development with the company’s strategic goals and customer expectations.
- Product Performance Analysis: Analyze product performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and making data-driven decisions to enhance product functionality and user experience.
- Sales and Customer Success Liaison: Act as a bridge between the product management team and the sales and customer success teams, ensuring product capabilities are aligned with customer needs and market demands.
- Technical Documentation: Oversee the creation and updating of comprehensive technical documentation for internal teams and customers.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct technical competitive analyses to stay informed about market trends and inform our product strategy.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of product management experience developing platform features
- Comprehensive understanding of the product development process, from concept to delivery.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams, including engineering, UX/UI, sales, and customer success.
- Strong analytical skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for varied audiences.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency with various product management and analytical tools.
Preferred Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- An advanced degree in engineering or business is preferred.

In accordance with various State’s transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:
- Base salary range: $178,200 –$200,000 annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
- Additional compensation: This role may also be eligible for an equity package (in the form of stock options). If any other compensation benefits apply, they will be discussed during the interview process.
