Help hosts and property managers take care of their Airbnb or vacation rental when they are on the go. That's what the Mobile team is all about. We strive to make the life of property managers as easy as possible. Ultimately, we want to provide a better experience for both guests and hosts alike wherever they are in the world!
We are looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded iOS and/or Android engineer to join our team and help build an application that thousands of hosts and property managers use every day to make home-sharing work for everyone. You will play an important part in our mobile engineering practice, implementing new features, improving performance, and building beautiful user interfaces.
What you’ll do
- Build cutting-edge iOS and Android apps that make hosting guests easy.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers.
- Write clear and maintainable code.
- Become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team.
Who you are
- You know how to write readable, idiomatic and maintainable Swift or Kotlin and are willing to follow and help shape already defined coding guidelines and workflows.
- You have experience with a variety of iOS frameworks.
- You have a deep understanding of Cocoa design patterns and API design.
- You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality code.
- You have released at least one app on the App Store or Google Play Store or have a project in the works that you can tell us about.
- Values team success over personal success.
Where you'll be
- We are a semi-distributed engineering team with most people in southern Sweden!
- Where in the world? For this role, you can be anywhere in the EU and is within working hours.
- Working hours? We operate within the Central European time zone for collaboration and ask that all be located in or close to that time zone.
- Prefer an office to work from instead? We have an engineering office in the center of beautiful Malmö, Sweden.
