We are seeking a senior infrastructure engineer with a broad skillset to take ownership of our AWS estate. You will build the infrastructure and deployment pipeline foundations of our platform that runs our best-in-class credit decision and origination engine, groundbreaking new product propositions, loan servicing platform, and consumer mobile application backend. 

Working closely with our product development and data teams, you will be responsible for AWS infrastructure at Fluro. 

This remote role is only open to people living in Portugal. 

Our tech stack 

  • Terraform and CDK 
  • AWS (EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDS Aurora Postgres, Elasticache API Gateway, CloudWatch, SecurityHub, Config, GuardDuty, WAF, KMS) 
  • New Relic 
  • Jenkins (self-hosted)(migrating to GitHub Actions) 
  • Wireguard 
 
Key Responsibilities  
 
  • Owning the infrastructure space, identifying problems, and building simple solutions to resolve them. 
  • Technical leadership of our AWS architecture 
  • Infrastructure support for our application engineering teams. 
  • Ensuring a secure and hardened AWS estate and network 
  • Management of non-AWS infrastructure such as domains and SSL certificates 
  • Working with external parties to enable network access 
  • Maintain our remaining self-hosted services (Jenkins, AutoRek, Wireguard) while we work towards replacement with provider-hosted services. 
 
Skills &Requirements  
 
  • Broad and deep experience of AWS and infrastructure-as-code 
  • Ability to learn new skills and be productive across all of our infrastructure. 
  • Proactive mindset. 
  • Experience building simple, scalable, performant, and stable AWS environments.  
  • Pragmatic application of agile and lean principles.
