We're looking for a developer who can help us bring our product to the next level with better developer tooling, automations, and project architecture. Join a team that is paving new ground within the Shopify theme development ecosystem and raising the bar of what online merchants expect from a premium theming product.

You live in constant state of productive dissatisfaction about the developer experience of projects you maintain and work within. You're capable of spotting the pain points, have the chops to rollout simple improvements quickly, and then iterate them into mature, long-term solutions. If you need to do something more than once, you tend to create a shortcut and/or automation for it.

You have experience with maintaining a front-end codebase that helps ensure its contributors are consistently producing a high-quality results. With the help of CI, NodeJS tooling, and a variety of testing suites, you create a dev environment that balances resiliency with nimbleness -- reducing the occurrences of unintended bugs, performance, a11y, and browser compatibility regressions without being a total drag to work with. 

You're familiar with modern component libraries and reusable coding practices, along with the architectures and tooling that accompany them. You enjoy optimizing, refactoring, and iteratively building toward an ideal, long-term solution.

You are self-directed and capable of functioning autonomously without constant oversight while maintaining high-trust relationships with your colleagues. You are adaptable and a generalist, capable of learning on-the-fly and tackling a wide-range of problems that come with being part of a small company.
