We are looking for a senior data engineer to work in the intersection between engineering and data science. Help us improve our data processing workflows and push them to the next level.
YOUR PROFILE
- Formal education in computer science
- Experience with software development
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience implementing complex data and ETL pipelines
- Experience with workflow management platforms and/or computational solutions like Apache Airflow or Google Cloud Functions
- You work independently and are goal-oriented
- You have excellent English skills
- You are located in one of the European time zones
YOUR ROLE
- Build the infrastructure required for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
- Design, implement, deploy and monitor data and ETL pipelines
- Help assemble large, complex data sets that meet critical business requirements
- Identify and analyse performance bottlenecks and problems in our data layer
- Ensure a high-quality code base

- You are comfortable working with *nix systems
- You have experience with PostgreSQL
- You have experience with the Go programming language
- You have significant DevOps experience
- You have experience working on highly-available and fault-tolerant systems
