The Bravo LT Senior Cloud Engineer possesses a deep understanding of the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of cloud environments, from the backend to the frontend. A strong foundation in computer science, the AWS ecosystem, and modern technologies are required.

Three main initiatives:

  • Modernizing cordless machines to AWS IoT, currently under Mongoose
  • Air Care (air purifiers) - connecting Air Care devices
  • Robots - connecting multiple machines, auto replenishment system with AWS
  • Responsibilities

    • Designing, coding, testing and deploying internal and customer-facing cloud services
    • Managing and deploying AWS based resources
    • Translate business requirements and user stories into functional applications
    • Advise on technology stacks, such as AWS Lambda, TypeScript, and REST
    • Design, build, test, and maintain reusable and reliable object-oriented code, such as C and C#
    • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
    • Identify and devise solutions to problems with functionality or performance of the applications
    • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field
    • Five or more years of experience developing in AWS cloud environment
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented software design and related patterns
    • Expert in AWS Lambda
    • Expert in TypeScript
    • Understanding of cloud API technologies, such as REST, OAuth, JSON
    • Experience using C and C#
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of clients and colleagues at a high degree of professionalism
    • Able to manage time effectively

    Preferred Qualifications

    Desired experience with:

    • AWS IoT Core
    • Working in a large organization/enterprise environment
