About the Role

Rula’s Business Operations team is a group of analytical and strategic generalists responsible for helping identify, diagnose and build solutions for the company’s highest-priority problems. We support the strategic planning process and company operating system, lead cross-functional initiatives and strike teams, partner with executives to define and achieve our company OKRs, and ensure leaders constantly have a pulse on the health of the business. We use data to identify the areas we should be working on, and serve as the primary owners of complex, cross-functional initiatives.

We are seeking a Sr. Business Operations Manager to join the Strategic Projects and Operations Team (SPOT). This person will guide some of the company’s most impactful, diverse and complex, strategic cross-functional projects across departments. This role is pivotal in delivering on projects aligned with Rula’s highest priorities and initiatives. Example projects could include: develop and launch a system to ensure and improve quality for >10k nationwide therapists, scope and build an in-person therapy offering, improve first visit completion and patient retention rates.

You will bring a mix of skills including strong analytics, strategic thinking, and stakeholder and project management to execute the work necessary to take projects from concept to delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution
  • 5+ years of demonstrated high performance in management consulting and/or Business Operations and Strategy-based roles
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and GSheets/Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to break down complex problems into smaller, discrete chunks
  • Experience in building trust and collaborating effectively alongside multiple stakeholders and executives in a fast moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience at a high growth startup
  • Familiarity in leveraging Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) to drive and communicate insights
  • Expertise in directly running or overseeing planning process / project management
  • Experience in launching a new product, business line, and/or initiative from ideation to delivery
