Senior Android Engineer - remote

Senior Android Engineer As a Senior Android developer you'll be our primary day to day owner for our Android applications. CommentSold builds and manages mobile apps for our customers as such our primary application is a consumer focused shopping app with a focus on e-commerce and especially on video and interactive selling. Our apps are white labelled based on a core native code based written in Java and now being migrated to Kotlin, we're looking for someone that has an interest in the space and in taking a strong role in leading our Android roadmap. NOTE: At this time, we are only considering candidates based in North America

In this role, you will

• You will be part of a small team, with a large amount of ownership and responsibility for managing things directly
• Collaboration with product managers, other teams, and both internal and external stakeholders, owning a large part of the process from problem understanding to shipping the solution
• Shipping high quality solutions with urgency

If you’re right for this role, you

• Have expert knowledge in Android development
• Understand UI and UX principles for mobile development on Android
• Have experience working on a largely scaled Saas platform
• Have professional experience with e-commerce or social commerce as a bonus
