The long version of our story: Back when web 2.0 was a thing (get off my lawn!) LeadSimple’s founders started a lead generation business connecting landlords with property management companies. Witnessing the challenges lead buyers had closing deals led into a natural segue to build out an industry-specific CRM which became the de-facto industry standard. Fast forward to 2020 when we released a process/workflow suite to move from the sales side of our clients business into the heart of day-to-day operations. The market was hungry and responded aggressively to the new direction, which led us to double down with growth and additional product expansion.


Expectations for your first 90 days:

30 day goals:

  • Gain familiarity with LeadSimple &property management processes through training materials.
  • Answer simple to complex questions about LeadSimple and assist in client management.
  • Complete Probe, Solve, Commit consultative sales training.
  • Shadow 10+ discovery calls and lead 5+ mock discovery calls.


60 day goals:

  • Understand and articulate the property management use case and LeadSimple’s value proposition.
  • Handle more complex LeadSimple questions professionally and empathetically.
  • Initiate 100+ outbound calls to upsell pipeline clients and lead 8+ account review/discovery calls.
  • Manage sales pipeline effectively and present client feedback in Product Prioritization meetings.

90 day goals:

  • Fulfill all aspects of the Account Executive role proficiently.
  • Conduct 10-20 client discovery calls per week.
  • Achieve at least 85% on-target earnings (OTE) by the end of 90 days.


A day in the life of…

  • Demonstrates LeadSimple Products Effectively: Discover and address customer needs leading to full-tier sign-ups and proposals.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and follow up on leads for sales appointments, both new and existing customers.
  • Develops and Maintains Customer Relationships: Passionately builds trust and rapport with clients, seeking innovative ways to strengthen relationships.
  • Hits Sales Quotas: Collaborate on setting sales quotas, strategizing to achieve them, and maintaining metrics on quota attainment and sales performance.
  • Implement Sales Processes: Take full ownership of the sales process from lead outreach to closing deals, ensuring accountability for outcomes.
  • Maintain Pipeline, Data, and Analytics: Keep accurate records of progress, next steps, and communications to manage pipeline effectively.
  • Aggressively Close Sales: Offer solutions beneficial for LeadSimple and customers, prioritizing win-win outcomes.
  • Represents Company Publicly: Act as company representative at events and meetings, proficient in public speaking and presenting value propositions.
  • Upsell Current Clients: Use consultative approach to uncover additional needs, propose solutions, and gain customer commitment.
  • Collaborates with Marketing: Coordinate with marketing, participate in events, and engage with clients to promote products.
  • Participate in Team Calls: Attend and contribute to team calls, demonstrating leadership when necessary.
  • Ability to Develop People: Coach team members to enhance performance in their roles.
