We're looking for our next Sales Enablement Specialist to lead the onboarding and training programs that enable our Sales Team to ramp up quickly and continuously hit sales targets. This person will focus on onboarding and training sales team members, collaborating with team leads and managers to deliver ongoing training, and supporting team-wide process documentation and lesson creation.

What you'll be doing
  • Coordinate onboarding plans for new sales hires and schedule live events
  • Serve as a coach for new hires during onboarding activities and provide feedback on their ability to follow our sales process and communicate the value of Fleetio
  • Conduct reoccurring 1:1s with new hires in their ramping months — assist with their questions, deliver real-time feedback through call reviews, and gather feedback from the onboarding process
  • Own and improve our existing onboarding program that brings new sales representatives up to speed, certifies them, and arms them with the tools and best practices they need to effectively ramp up in a new role
  • Help curate content and maintain documentation and lessons in our LMS (Lessonly) to ensure new hires are learning the most up-to-date content
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create asynchronous lessons and live training sessions for onboarding initiatives
  • Design and host in-person and online training sessions (live and on Zoom)

We have a hybrid sales team today with about 50% of the team working from our HQ, while the others are sprinkled throughout the United States. Our team

The Sales Team at Fleetio is comprised of three departments:
  • Sales Development: Sales Development Representatives create opportunities by researching and contacting prospective customers to understand their needs and educate them on how Fleetio can help them achieve their goals.
  • SMB &Mid-Market Account Executives: Small to Medium Sized Business (SMB) &Mid-Market Account Executives grow our revenue by demonstrating the value of Fleetio to prospective customers, supporting their buying evaluation, and negotiating and closing opportunities.
  • Enablement: The Enablement Team’s initiatives guide and support the development and success of the other three Sales Departments. We ensure Sales new hires have all the tools, knowledge, and resources to get ramped up quickly, and we facilitate ongoing team-wide and department-wide trainings to continuously sharpen the team’s skillsets.
Our team’s mandate is to generate revenue and data for the rest of the company. The best way to do this is through developing and executing scalable strategies across our growing team. Execution is only achieved with effective training and coaching, which is why our Enablement team is critical to our success.

Requirements
  • At least one year of B2B sales experience, preferably within a fast-paced SaaS environment
  • At least one year of Enablement or Training experience
  • Analytical skills to proactively identify Sales organization enablement needs and prioritize them
  • Proficiency in establishing curriculums and programming
  • Solid program and project management skills with a proven ability to interact and collaborate with managers and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with the Winning by Design SPICED framework or the drive to learn the framework and teach it to others
  • Technical aptitude with our tech stack - Lessonly, Gong, Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, GSlides, Asana and Slack
  • Ability to deliver feedback in a concise, constructive, and polite manner
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • A passion for teaching, training, encouraging, and helping your teammates improve and succeed
  • Self-starter mentality with a track record of producing exceptional work with minimal supervision

Considered a plus
  • Experience in a Sales Development Representative or Account Executive role
  • Coaching or management experience
  • SaaS experience
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Sales, Education, or another Enablement-related field
