Work with the Founders in Adelaide &Melbourne, and our team of in-house RoR engineers in Singapore, Thailand, &Australia to continually build new features and improve existing UX.
As a little background, Bluethumb is Australia's largest online art marketplace. We have over 10,000 artists and sell their art directly to collectors. We're passionate about building incredible tech, our user testing program and building whatever we need to grow.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2+ years Ruby on Rails development experience. This is a position for an experience Rails programmer, but you don't have to be a rock star or superhero to apply. To succeed in this role you will be confident and experienced in front end development and ideally also have an advanced level of knowledge in DevOps, QA or Data Science.
All our developers are full stack and get really varied new experience;with a mix of front end (solid level of Vue.js), back end (Ruby, Rails, Hanami) and DevOps (Kubernetes), doing short sprints and bigger projects.
This can be a remote role, but ideally you are located in a similar timezone to Australia (AEST) with at least 6 hours overlap. We have offices in Adelaide &Melbourne, so bonus points if you are in either of these two cities.
