Hi there!

We are looking for someone who is passionate about recruiting and excited to help people land their dream job. If you want to be team member #11 at a high-growth (100%+ YoY), bootstrapped start-up and to work directly with our founding team, then read on.

About IGotAnOffer

IGotAnOffer is a coaching interview platform that helps professionals get a job at top companies like Facebook, Google, McKinsey, BCG, etc. Our coaches are all ex-interviewers with first-hand experience of what it takes to get an offer.

Since getting started, we’ve helped more than 3,500 candidates get a job in consulting, product management, software engineering, etc.

To get a better idea of what we do, you can browse our tech interview coaches and consulting interview coaches.

Things you might do

IGotAnOffer is a small, fast-growing company (100%+ YoY growth), so you'll likely get experience on many different projects. You'll be reporting directly to Max, our Founder / CEO.

Here’s what you’ll mainly focus on when getting started. The percentages below are indicative and will evolve as we grow depending on your preferences!
  • Coaches recruiting (60% of your time). You’ll recruit coaches for the supply side of our coaching marketplace. Our coaches are part-time freelancers who coach on top of their main job. You’ll agree what coaches to target with Max and you’ll manage Eden who’s sourcing coaches with us. You’ll take calls with potential coaches to explain how we work, answer their questions and onboard them to IGotAnOffer. You’ll follow up with them until onboarding is complete and they’ve done their first few coaching sessions.
  • Permanent staff recruiting (30%). You’ll work with the team’s hiring managers to write job descriptions for full time hires in our different teams: engineering, marketing, etc. You’ll support the teams to design interview processes that enable them to assess culture fit and technical skills without being a burden for candidates. You’ll make and negotiate offers to candidates and help onboard them to the team.
  • Improving infrastructure and processes (10%). We’re a small team and you will have the opportunity to work on projects such as setting up a CRM for recruiting coaches and permanent staff, setting up a remote HR software (e.g. for contracts, payroll, etc.) updating our compensation frameworks, etc.
  • About you

You’re an experienced recruiter who’s excited about working on a variety of projects from onboarding coaches to building our recruiting function for permanent staff from the ground up.
    • Recruiting. You love all sides of recruiting: from running a tight process to assessing candidates’ fit and making them the offer to join. You’re excited to be the first recruiter on a small team of 10 and to shape where we go from here.
    • Verbal communication. You communicate in a positive, structured and clear way. You’ve got a knack for making other people feel comfortable and for teasing out what makes them tick. You understand that a lot of the job is about asking the right questions and carefully listening to the answers.
    • Written improvements. Writing is something you enjoy doing. From understanding candidates’ questions, to structuring your emails in a positive way and perfecting the flow of your sentences and paragraphs.
    • Process improvements. You naturally identify recurring tasks or problems and proactively take steps to simplify or automate their resolution by working with the rest of your team.
    • Project management. You are comfortable managing a large number of small tasks (as opposed to one or two large tasks) and make sure that nothing falls off your plate. You proactively communicate the status of your projects with your manager and identify potential roadblocks early on.

We're looking for someone who's available Monday to Friday. Our team works ~8h per day. You’d need to start your day at 9am EST at the latest to ensure you have enough overlap with the team in Europe.
