Role Overview
This is a remote position with TBD company-paid visits to Nashville, TN. As a QA Tester at LiveSchool, you will test and help ensure the quality of our software that is used by educators across the world. You will help to prepare, build, and run scenarios and tests to cover the use patterns of our growing set of features. Your role will include:
- Manually testing individual UI components, specific features, and the entire LiveSchool frontend built on a Javascript framework
- Reporting and investigating bugs found in the application
- Extending automated integration test coverage
- Interacting with engineers and product experts at LiveSchool to evolve the product
- Building detailed testing plans in coordination with planned release schedules to ensure that we thoroughly test and ship quality code on time.
Requirements
We are looking for a US-based person with an interest in education and technology, including:
- Interest/experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and the usage of website technologies
- Experience and/or interest in writing automated software tests in Cucumber
- Exquisite attention to detail
- Drive, communication skills, and passion for quality
- Light project management experience is a bonus
