Who we’re hiring:

We are looking for a QA Software Engineer to support our work developing advanced collaboration and innovation products by testing and supporting product requirements with a primary focus on executing test cases, tracking bugs, and ensuring the end product is up to standards.

What you’ll do:

  • Work as a member of our digital product team to ensure requirements are testable.
  • Ensure our digital products are safe and sound for the market and consumer use.
  • Develop and execute custom test strategies for digital products, including manual and specialization capacities.
  • Strive to become a subject matter expert within our products and their applications.
  • Help debug and perform root cause analysis on identified production issues.
  • Maintain and execute comprehensive test plans and requirement matrices.
  • Test and learn how to validate data for front-end and back-end systems.
  • Analyze, identify, and monitor software defects and report testing results in detail using bug-tracking tools.
  • Conduct testing - Functional, Regression, Integration, Compatibility, etc.

Some basic qualifiers:

  • 4 years of Quality Assurance Engineering experience, preferably with digital technology customers. 
  • Nice to have: Experience with React, Next.js, Node, and Typescript, and graph databases (Gremlin, Neptune).
  • Nice to have: Experience with test automation tool sets
  • Have solid experience working with container-based development and deployments.
  • Have a solid understanding of AI / Machine Learning concepts like LLMs and Embeddings.
  • Have solid experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud services like AWS. 
  • Are comfortable working in an agile, collaborative, and fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities as needed.
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Designers, Full Stack Engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Are passionate about web technologies and software engineering best practices, with a strong desire to stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the field.
  • Hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems.
  • Open to occasional travel to support company initiatives.  
  • Salary: Commercially comparable. 
  • Location: Remote availability with preference for candidates in Minnesota or in the Central Time Zone.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
