TGB is a venture capital backed company that makes it easy for nonprofits to accept cryptocurrency donations like bitcoin while also offering donors a more tax efficient way to support their favorite causes. We are the marketing leading provider and work with 400 nonprofits, including some of the largest (like United Way Worldwide and American Cancer Society). We are raising millions of dollars worth of crypto per month and are growing quickly.

Role Description
The Giving Block is looking for someone (remote) to take the lead on all things in terms of quality assurance of our products. From our widget, donation platform, API and various dashboards, the QA will be responsible for ensuring that our products function as expected and eliminating any bugs. 


Responsibilities:
  • Building the testing process in a team and its constant improvement
  • Implementation of new testing tools
  • Quality assurance of team releases
  • Manual web application testing
  • Development, writing, execution and support of test cases, and preparation of checklists
  • Perform regression, functional, integration testing
  • Bug report collection, prioritization and control of corrections
  • REST API, SOAP testing
  • Analysis of system logs to identify web application crashes and other cases of anomalous system behavior (especially after releases)
  • Communication with stakeholders to understand business requirements

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of testing experience
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, writing queries
  • Good knowledge of DevTools
  • Good understanding of how to test REST API and SOAP
  • Ability to work with log systems (Bugsnag, Sentry, AWS)
  • Understanding HTTP (S), JSON, XML
  • Ability to clearly and competently express your thoughts in writing
  • Great level of soft-skills, ability to negotiate 
  • Test automation experience
  • Basic knowledge of JS
  • Fluent English and experience working with an international team
  • Optional: Understanding agile principles
