Position Overview

This is a remote-only position. You must be comfortable with setting your own schedule and proactively collaborating in a globally dispersed team using a variety of communication channels.

We are seeking a QA Engineer who will help us in our effort to continuously improve the quality of software development and deployment. You will be involved in performing manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for its purpose.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
  • Collaborating closely with other team members and departments
  • Executing all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
  • Detecting and tracking software defects and inconsistencies
  • Providing timely solutions
  • Applying quality engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle
  • Providing support and documentation
  • Mentoring junior QA engineers

Required Qualifications

  • Solid experience in functional, usability, acceptance, integration, performance, and security testing
  • 2+ years of testing experience in software development
  • Experience with writing and executing detailed test cases, test plans, and test design documents
  • Experience with application (UI/API/Unit) automation tools, BDD automation tools, monitoring tools, performance testing tools, and automation technologies is a plus
  • Ability to speak and write in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent
  • Experience working in distributed teams
  • Fluent in the English language
