Your Role in Our Pack:



This is a full-time position in our Ankeny office for local candidates or U.S. remote for the right candidate.



As a Product Marketing Coordinator, you will be the driving element for launching new products. You will coordinate product launches from beginning to end. You will lead &ensure new products launch strongly and existing products maintain and improve. You will lead &assist in product positioning, product packaging, messaging, competitive differentiation, and therefore ensuring to best enable our Sales and Marketing packs. You will bridge the gap between our Product Pack and Marketing Pack and be the catalyst to move the needle in bringing products to furbabies and fellow pet parents throughout the country &abroad.



You will ensure to be in flow with customer's mindset by being highly empathetic and deeply understand their problems and how a potential product or our existing products can solve their needs. You will also simultaneously understand what other competitive options may exist and do and with that ensure we’re providing enough valuable differentiation to ensure we best serve the pets and their parent's needs the most.



Responsibilities will include such tasks as, being a product expert on our products and others in the industry, product positioning, messaging, assist with steps in product creation, product packaging, organizing &coordinating product photography, videography, own initial product marketing material for both internal use and external, and most importantly overseeing product launches. This role will allow you to become a Pet Parents® expert, and through this, you will not only be a problem solver when it comes to tackling growth initiatives with our products but also in expanding &optimizing our various programs.



On top of launching, maintaining, &further building out our product portfolio you’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate and add to other marketing projects, design projects, product innovation, research, data management, sales funnels, the list goes on. You will anticipate needs, be a clear &concise communicator, and help serve as a go-to resource and problem solver for our fellow pet parents, as well as our pack members.



This role requires an uber-precise focus on customer empathy, project management, critical thinking, a sense of urgency, emotional intelligence, a keen sense of good design, creativity, problem solving, data analysis, execution, out of the box thinking, organization skills to help us launch kicka** products to serve furbabies and their parents.



You will wear many "hats.”

You will lead, nurture, &optimize seed product marketing material that informs the rest of the Pet Parents® pack

You will help launch category-leading pet products to serve our existing 100,000s of customers and millions of more future customers

You will help expand &optimize a thriving product catalog

You will be a wizard in data analysis and sniffer of opportunities

You will spot trends, cause-effect dynamics, and bring ideas &plans to life

You will help set &be the steward across all channels &mediums of best in class product positioning, messaging, &competitive differentiation

You will work in a fast-paced environment with constant hands-on projects

You will also be an organizer, researcher, problem-solver&planner

Minimum 2 years of experience in a product marketing role

Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial design role

Minimum 2 years of experience in a product management role
